A FAMILY STORY

Sébastien, Nathalie et Kevin Lefèvre

The Lefèvres are a line of winegrowers who have lived in Vert-Toulon for five generations. The founder, Frédéric Lefèvre, started the operation with the first two plots “Les Bonnes” and “Grand Poirié”.

Sébastien LEFEVRE created his company “EARL LEFEVRE SEBASTIEN” in 1997.

The EARL LEFEVRE Sébastien vineyard is made up of vines located at:

VERT-TOULON (formerly “VERT-LA-GRAVELLE”), acquired through seven generations:

“Les Bonnes” and “Le Grand Poirier”, are the first vines purchased and exploited by Frédéric LEFEVRE, his great-great-great-grandfather winegrower, on July 21, 1906.

“Les Biquières” and “Brémont” are the last vines purchased and operated by Gaëtan LEFEVRE, his winegrower grandfather, on May 19, 1955 and December 6, 1955.

Certain plots transmitted by donations, inheritances or by consolidation, through the generations, in meadow, copse, field or wood, became vines thanks to the champagne appellation, in the commune of VERT-TOULON, in the late 1950s , early 1960.

SAINT MARTIN OF ABLOIS:
“Les Crayons” acquired by Sébastien LEFEVRE on July 30, 1997.

BRUGNY-VANDANCOURT (Vinay):
“La Flacoterie” acquired by Sébastien LEFEVRE, on May 10, 2017.

Currently managed by Sébastien Lefèvre, the estate covers more than 6 hectares and 60 acres. Sébastien Lefèvre takes care to work the soil and the vines while respecting the values associated with quality and permanent innovation certified by the Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne (VDC) and High Environmental Value (HVE) organizations.
